Patriot Chic

Our new Silk Kimono is one of our favorites from the Summer 2017 collection. Pair with white jeans, festive earrings and clutch and comfy platforms for a chic look.

We also love the new Baby Cacti Denim Jumpsuit for a super versatile piece--a pop of color in your accessories makes all the difference in this ensemble. We recommend accessorizing with your favorite shoe and some bomb shades to stay cool and comfortable all day.

Festive Nibbles & Libations

Watermelon, Olive and Feta Salad

This mix of salty, sweet and fresh flavors makes this summer salad one of our Summer favs. The recipe showcases Mediterranean ingredients in a super-simple way to create a bold flavor. Not only will it look beautiful on your table, but will taste delicious with the feta and olives contrasting the sweet watermelon.

Caprese-stuffed avocado

These caprese-stuffed avocados are my personal pick for a winning Fourth of July spread. I’m a sucker for avocado, and serving a classic caprese inside adds a unique, protein-packed way to plate the dish and makes a great side item.

Grilled and Dilled” Elote-Inspired Corn on the Cob
Everyone should have the pleasure of indulging in rich, flavorful “elote,” Mexican street corn covered in cream and spices. Cooking Light does the dish justice with a healthier twist perfect for your Fourth of July meal.

 Bean and Veggie Sliders

Classic burgers and hotdogs are great, but we tried these healthier sliders and were just as satisfied (really). Martha Stewart takes inspiration from Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches to create these flavorful vegetarian burgers. Topped with mango and cilantro as recommended, they were seriously delicious.

 Drinks and Dessert:

Strawberry Mojitos and “Fourth of July Sangria”

Fourth of July would feel incomplete without happy hour. Get sophisticated behind the bar with strawberry mojitos and this fruity, fun sangria recipe.

Triple Berry Tiramisu

For the grand finale, Marissa’s party-pleasing recommendation is this amazing triple berry tiramisu. Incorporate colorful berries into this classic dessert for our take on a red white and blue treat.
