A Symbology Summer

A Symbology Summer
Posted on

With the sun shining brighter and days getting hotter, we are thrilled to announce our new summer collection! Ethereal fabrics, flowing silhouettes, and pops of ruby and azure are perfect for the magic days of summer. A bohemian chicness infuses the light and airy designs. Whether lounging by the poolside with a glass of icy lemonade or exploring a cool new city on vacation, the rompers and wraps in our summer line provide effortless style.

Traipse a beach boardwalk on a beautiful afternoon in our two-piece maxi, and slip on some wedges and bracelets for an instant day-to-night look. Head to that outdoor concert with a picnic blanket in tow and a sheer kimono jacket draped over shorts and a crop top. At a loss for what to wear to work on an oppressively hot Friday? Try one of our sleek sleeveless jumpsuits that pair perfectly with heels.

One of the signature prints of our summer line is the hibiscus flower, which has a range of meanings across world cultures. In the Pacific Islands it is a sign of hospitality and respect; in Asia it signifies the immortality of love and the invincibility of warriors. In India, where the summer line was made, the hibiscus is associated with the Hindu goddess Kali, who was born from ancient energy. She is a fierce goddess who represents empowerment: she can be both violent and lovingly maternal.

We hope that wearing our hibiscus design provides our customer with a little extra fierceness. As a company that prides itself in promoting women’s empowerment, we love the symbolism behind the hibiscus, and the beauty in all our summer designs that makes the wearer feel confident and good. So grab some sandals and a floppy hat, rock some Symbology pieces, and have a wonderful summer!
