Cost is one of the biggest barriers for a lot of people when it comes to sustainable fashion. Unfortunately, it's an unavoidable reality that creating handmade garments, using sustainable materials, and paying makers fair wages can be quite a costly process - which is why fair trade items tend to be more on the expensive side. To try and make this fair trade fashion space more accessible for everyone, we've partnered with Afterpay, a system that lets you pay for any of our items in 4 equal installments instead of all at once.
If you've never used Afterpay before, we'll give you the lowdown on how it works. Just look for the Afterpay logo on any of our product pages, and it'll show you exactly how much each of the 4 installments will be. Then go ahead and add the item to your cart and checkout like normal, selecting 'Installments by Afterpay' as your payment method. Once you've paid that first installment, you're set! Just make sure to pay off the installments every two weeks, and you won't have to pay any additional interest or fees.
We love this handy little tool because for so many people, breaking up the cost into four smaller payments is much more manageable, and can help alleviate some of the stress that comes with buying higher-priced items. We want ethical fashion to become the norm, not the exception, and Afterpay is one way we're able to do this without having to sacrifice quality or ethics.
